Covenant Women

Equipping, supporting and encouraging women in their relationship with God, one another and our community.

Our heart for women is to provide opportunities for women to deepen their relationship with God and each other.  At Covenant, we see the importance of having a place where you can know and be known, where you can grow in your relationship with God and others and where you can spur each other on toward Christ-like maturity.  Our mission is to bring Gospel-restoration to people’s deepest needs and our broken world.  Therefore, we want women to have a place where they can safely share, a place of authentic community.  We offer various types of groups as well as a women's sexual abuse recovery ministry.

Women’s Discipleship

In order to encourage women to connect in Biblical community, we offer various types of group:

  • Covenant Groups - small groups of about 5-12 women who meet weekly or bi-weekly to study God's Word, encourage, pray and serve alongside each other
  • Journey Groups - groups of 3-6 women who meet weekly for deep discipleship and accountability using the Journey Curriculum
  • Triads - groups of 3 women who meet weekly or bi-weekly to provide deeper accountability
  • One-on-One Discipleship - is available for women who are at a place in their spiritual walk where they might benefit from individual discipleship or mentoring

Summer Women's Study

What’s SHE Doing Here? The Messy Women in Jesus’s Genealogy

The Gospel of Matthew begins with Jesus’s family tree, an unusual one not only because it includes women, but messy women: Tamar, who tricked her father-in-law to impregnate her; Rahab, the Jericho prostitute who betrayed her countrymen; Ruth, the widowed Moabitess turn beggar; and Bathsheba, listed only by her murdered husband’s name. Then there was Mary.  Although we know of her innocence and submission to God, those around her questioned her purity and the legitimacy of the Child she bore.

Join us for this study written by a fellow PCA women's director Susan Tyner, as we examine how God wove the messy stories of these five women together into His Big Story of salvation.  And learn how He continues to redeem His children—one messy story at a time.

Women’s Recovery Group

We desire to provide opportunities for women who are dealing with various types of brokenness to come together regularly for the purpose of healing and redemption to occur.

Our Sexual Abuse Recovery ministry began over two years ago and through these groups, we have had the joy of seeing women experience freedom from the brokenness that comes with abuse.  Our Sexual Abuse Recovery Group meets for 11 weeks.  Groups are offered at least three times during the year, with new groups beginning as needed.  One-on-one meetings with women are always an option for those desiring healing from sexual brokenness.
