"Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, 'I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children'" (Luke 10:21).

The DOCK is a ministry of the Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition (BNDC), with whom we partner.  BNDC is a non-profit, faith-based organization that reaches out to kids (ages 5-15) who live in pockets of poverty, and are regularly exposed to the presence of drugs, prostitution, and violence in their communities. The DOCK provides a "safe haven" for these kids to come after school, where they participate in tutoring, snacks, games, and Bible lessons. They are in constant need of volunteers to help with these activities. Here is the BNDC Official Web Site: www.bndcserve.org.

When? The Center is open every day, Monday through Friday, 2:30-6:00 p.m.

Where? The "DOCK" is located in the Booker T. Washington neighborhood in north Melbourne.  Click the address below for a map.
Sign-Up? If you would like to sign up as a regular volunteer, contact Botavia Jackson in the BNDC office at 259-0996 or bndcenter@aol.com, and ask for the next available volunteer orientation date. If you just want to "try it out" before committing, contact Jonathan Culley at jculley@covenantpalmbay.org, and he can arrange for you to come to the Center, meet the kids, and just observe.
