The preeminent philosopher and mathematician, René Descartes, once described every human as having a "God-shaped hole" in our hearts that we try to fill with everything else but God. When that occurs, we find only frustration, discontent, despair, and ultimately, death. Deep down, we all know that we were made for so much more.

Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). Jesus, full of compassion, says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
