Nursing Home Outreach
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:31-40).
Through the Nursing Home Outreach, we:
- Worship God by conducting worship services and sing-a-long events
- Connect With Others by serving along side fellow believers and nursing home residents as we reach out
- Impact People's Lives by preaching the Gospel to a largely forgotten part of the body of Christ, building relationships, and leading people to Christ
How do I get involved?
Below are the various ways you can get involved in this ministry. You can just show up to these events, or you can use the Sign-Up Form to the right to indicate your interest.
- Monthly Worship Services: On every Third Sunday of every month (3:00-4:00pm), we gather with the residents of Atlantic Shores in Melbourne to worship the Lord together. During these times, there are opportunities to teach, share special music, read Scriptures, and offer friendship.
- Special Events: Throughout the year we organize special events during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Many times, these events involve making crafts and building relationships.
Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located at 4251 Stack Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32901 in the south wing dining room.
