Church Service Opportunities

Interested in putting your gifts and skills to use in the Church? This is a list of immediate needs within the Church body that you can help meet.

Work on a hospitality team in the East Gate Cafe on Sunday mornings
Adopt a “garden bed” (a portion of the landscaping)-keep it up year-round
Lawn Maintenance-fertilization & spraying(pest treatment and control)
Interior and/or exterior painting teams (summer, other times)
Set-up and/or breakdown of Covenant Cove
Sunday school room preparation
Special event childcare-group does this (Missions meal, Christmas Eve, newcomer luncheon
Set-up-special event (Missions conference meal) other.
Maintenance jobs-routine (AC filters, light bulbs, etc.)
Component/part of First Impressions (attend Jerry’s training)
Bereavement Committee-group that assists Deanna Greene
Groups that caters to widows (works with Deacons)
Service with clothing closet (set-up and tear down)
Group that encourages pastoral families-birthdays, gifts, notes, help, etc.
