Worldwide Missions

"Therefore, GO!" (Matthew 28:19)

Vision: The vision of the Missions Committee is to equip, educate, enlist, and encourage CPC's members and missionaries in the performance of mission endeavors nationally and globally.

How we accomplish this

  • We dedicate a large percentage of church tithes and offerings to supporting local and foreign missions works.
  • Partnering with missionaries and their families through financial, spiritual, and prayer support.
  • Providing financial support for various ministry organizations, including PCA colleges and seminaries, international mercy ministries, and international pastoral training centers.
  • Encouraging short-term missions trips for youth and adult members, including regularly-organized trips to Ecuador. It is our hope that these would be a means whereby the Lord could give definite leading for career ministry to some of our members.
  • Organizing a Missions Emphasis Week each year to educate members and provide opportunities for meeting with CPC-supported missionaries.
How you can be involved:
  • Pray regularly for our mission endeavors and ministry partners. A complete list of supported missionaries and organizations is below. Each week, the worship service bulletin contains specific, timely prayer requests from our missionaries. You may also use our Church Missionary booklet (published each year during the Missions Conference) to learn more about our missionaries and their prayer needs.
  • Consider participating in the Missions Committee and its various missions teams, including prayer support, communication support between our missionaries and church body, conference planning, and financial support evaluation.
  • Contact either Mark Diener at 676-6136 or Gene List at 751-0196.
