EDGE Teen Leadership 
Teens with a strong commitment to Christ and the EDGE are trained and developed into student leaders.
LEDGE - Leaders of the EDGE. The adult mentor leaders and teen leaaders, the LEDGE serve as mentor group leaders and leaders in training.
PLEDGE - Praise Leaders of the EDGE. A worship team of teens and adult leaders who lead worship for the EDGE.
Adult volunteers facilitate and mentor teens at the EDGE. Mentor groups consist of an adult mentor, teen leaders and a group of teens involved with the EDGE on a regular basis.
Jobs available are (these are listed in no particular order):
- Sunday night Host (8 students) These students will be the face of EDGE on Sunday night. They will serve on two teams of four rotating each week. They will greet students in the foyer as they come in and look for visitors and direct them to the information table. When we open up ping pong and the other games before and after EDGE these students will be the leaders of that relationship building time.
- Sunday night “Response group” Helper (10 students) These students will assist the “response group” Leaders during the application time of the message. Think of Response groups as similar to mentor groups from last year, but there main focus will be applying the talk from that night. We will not have these groups every Sunday night, instead they will be used to apply a message to a specific age group. Your group leader will use you as they see fit. One week you might basically lead the group through the response questions while another you might be looked at to be the first to give an example of what that looks like in your life.
- Production Team (8 students) This team will deal with helping pledge get set-up and making sure that what happens on the stage get pulled off with ease. This group will also come up with skits and video ideas that will help to reinforce the topic of the night. Icebreaker games will be chosen and often times lead by this group. We will again divide into two teams of four, but that might differ depending on the night.
- “Plugged In” Group leader (6 students) 3 girls and three guys who will help lead along with an adult the new Wednesday night discipleship groups. These groups have not been publically announced, but Wednesday night in the fall will be a night of deep discipleship as three groups of guys and three groups of girls go through the discipleship process learning how to pursue God with all our heart… as well as how to have a personal ministry. The student’s will serve as helpers to the group leader.
- Pledge (which have already been selected earlier this summer.) If you have already turned in an application for pledge you do not have to fill out this application.
