Creationism: Various Views
The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) holds to a variety of views on creation. All of them uphold the absolute historicity, inerrancy, and inspiriation of the creation account in Genesis 1-3, and totally reject all versions of evolutionary origins or mythological interpretations of Genesis.
Below is a link to the PCA Creation Study Committee Report that was presented and approved at the PCA General Assembly in 2002. It explains in detail all the interpretations that are allowed to be held by PCA ministers, and describes the pros and cons of each.
